Chelsea defender David Luiz has signed a new five year deal. This comes after transfer speculations linking him with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona. The 25 year old has been a key part of the London club's team since his arrival from Benfica in January 2011. "It is a great club and I look forward to winning more trophies" he said.
" I want to play at the top for a long time which is what playing for Chelsea means".
" I love everything about the club especially the fans, who have made me very welcome and given me great support" Luiz added.
Chelsea won their game against Stoke City by a lone goal after an entertaining match.
