CHELSEA CAPTAIN JOHN TERRY RETIRES FROM INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL

Former England captain John Terry has retired from international football. He made the statement claiming that the FA has made his stay 'untenable'. The 31 year old has won 78 caps for his country since 2003 and leading England against Poland for the first time in a world cup qualifier."I feel the FA have made my position with the national team untenable" Terry said
"Representing and captaining my country is what I dreamed of as a boy and it has been a truly great honour"
"I have always given my all and it breaks my heart to make this decision. I wish Roy and the team every success for the future".
"I would like to thank the managers who have selected me for my 78 caps.
"I would like to thank them, the fans and my family for their support and encouragement during my international career".
Terry has however stated that he will be giving his all in helping Chelsea win trophies both domestically and in European tournaments. This is a sad news to me as I view him as a legend and to end his international career in this manner...It's really bad. What do you think, let's have your say.
